Rising in the Hardest Moments
When crisis strikes, like the recent FSU shooting, there’s no time to process emotions first. As crisis communicators, we get up and get it done because lives, clarity, and calm depend on it.
Our job isn’t easy, but it’s necessary. Amid chaos, we listen, write, correct misinformation, and communicate with urgency and care. People need to know what’s happening, what’s true, and what to do next.
At Turnhill Communications, we don’t take public service lightly. We’re here to help organizations navigate their hardest moments with clear, timely, and compassionate messaging. Because in a crisis, communication isn’t optional, it’s imperative.
Standing Strong: Why the MS Walk Matters
Did you know that over 2.8 million people worldwide are living with Multiple Sclerosis (MS)? It’s a disease that doesn’t always show on the outside, but for those facing it, the battle is constant. MS affects the brain and spinal cord, disrupting the flow of information between the body and the brain. For many, symptoms like fatigue, numbness, or difficulty walking can be daily obstacles, ones that aren't always visible to the outside world.
That’s why the Walk Your Way MS Walk means so much.
This annual event isn’t just about putting one foot in front of the other. It’s about community. It’s about solidarity. It’s about showing up for the people who wake up every morning and choose to fight. Whether you're walking for a loved one, a friend, or simply because you believe in the cause, you're stepping into a movement that’s pushing for progress, more research, better treatments, and ultimately, a cure.
So as we lace up our shoes and walk our own way, let’s remember what we’re walking for: strength, hope, and a future without MS.

This Is What It’s Supposed to Be
On March 26, something powerful unfolded at John G. Riley Elementary in Tallahassee’s 32304. Gentleman’s Night wasn’t just an event, it was a movement. Black fathers, mentors, and father figures showed up for their kids in a school full of heart, love, and purpose.
Workshops, tie-tying lessons, painting stations, and raw, real conversations created a space where presence meant everything. No spotlight, no ego, just love and legacy in motion.
At Turnhill Communications, we believe in elevating these moments. They are not anomalies, they are blueprints. This is what it’s supposed to be.
Let’s capture more of this. Let’s keep telling these stories. And most importantly, let’s keep showing up.
